Kids Hope USA is a national church-owned, school based mentoring program that equips a church to build a partnership with its neighborhood public elementary school by providing faithful mentors to children who need a caring adult friend. Kids Hope USA gives schools a proven intervention to help at-risk children at no cost to the school.

Missions Committee
The Missions Committee meets monthly at Brunswick United Methodist to encourage and support the church’s efforts in local and global outreach. The Missions Committee believes that putting our faith into action is at the very heart of our Christian calling,  and that we as followers of Jesus Christ are meant to have an impact in not only our community but also on a global scale, and that support for missions projects and missionaries is key to expanding God's Kingdom. If this speaks to your heart, we’d love to have you on board. Please contact the Church Office for more information.
Missionary Support
In 2020-2021 Brunswick United Methodist Church has contributed financial support to the following missionaries and mission projects:

Community Soup Dinners
Community Soup Dinners are held from 5 to 6 pm on the third Thursday during the cooler months of the year (October through March). Volunteer chefs who are able bring a crockpot of soup to share with other church and community members who attend. There is never a charge — anyone is welcome to come and enjoy a hearty dinner of home-made soup for free! For more information, please contact the Church Office.

Medina County Fair Booth Restaurant
Since the early 1980s, members of Brunswick United Methodist Church have operated a food booth at the Medina County Fair. It's one of the few restaurants at the fair where fairgoers — including workers and presenters — can enjoy sit-down service for all three meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Proceeds from the food booth are donated to various ministries of the church. Food booth volunteers are committed to sharing the love of Jesus Christ with any and all who visit. For more information, please contact the church office.

Prayer Bears
The Prayer Bear Ministry at Brunswick United Methodist meets monthly to make pocket-sized prayer bears for distribution at hospitals, in homes and in times of crisis. If you enjoy working with your hands or are good with a pair of scissors, or can add stuffing to a budding prayer bear, please join us for good conversation and for doing good with this bear-sized task. For more information, please contact the Church Office.
Communications Team
The Communications Team is responsible for the audiovisual elements of Sunday worship services. Helping hands are always welcome in the sound booth and behind the camera. In addition to broadcasting the worship service live-stream every Sunday morning on Facebook,  members of the Communications Team prepare the PowerPoint slides used during the services and edits the recorded services for broadcast later in the week on BAT (Brunswick Area Television). Copies of recordings are distributed to nursing homes out of the BAT cable area and other church members when requested. For more information or to become a team member, please contact the church office.

"Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can."
